Day 1: NJP / Bagdogra – Darjeeling
Upon your arrival at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport, meet our representative and begin your scenic drive to Darjeeling. The journey takes you through lush tea gardens, picturesque valleys, and winding Himalayan roads. After reaching Darjeeling, check in to your hotel and relax. In the evening, you may take a leisurely stroll along the famous Mall Road and Chowrasta, enjoy local delicacies, shop for souvenirs, or simply admire the beautiful mountain scenery. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Tiger Hill Sunrise & Darjeeling Sightseeing
Start your day before dawn with a visit to Tiger Hill to witness the breathtaking sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga (weather permitting). On your return, stop at the famous Batasia Loop and Ghoom Monastery. After breakfast, continue your local sightseeing tour covering the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, Tenzing Rock, the Japanese Temple & Peace Pagoda, and the renowned Happy Valley Tea Estate. After exploring the major attractions, return to your hotel for a relaxing overnight stay.
Day 3: Rock Garden, Ropeway & Leisure
After breakfast, visit the beautifully landscaped Rock Garden and the serene Ganga Maya Park, known for their waterfalls and peaceful surroundings. Later, enjoy an optional ride on the Darjeeling Ropeway, offering spectacular aerial views of tea gardens and valleys. Spend the evening at leisure exploring the local cafés, shopping for Darjeeling tea and handicrafts, or relaxing at Mall Road. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 4: Toy Train Experience & Leisure
After breakfast, enjoy the famous Darjeeling Himalayan Railway Toy Train Joy Ride (optional and subject to ticket availability), a UNESCO World Heritage experience. The remaining day is free to explore the town at your own pace. You may visit local monasteries, nearby viewpoints, tea lounges, or simply relax while enjoying the refreshing mountain atmosphere. Spend your final evening soaking in the charm of Darjeeling before returning to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 5: Darjeeling – NJP / Bagdogra Departure
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive back to NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey. As you bid farewell to the Queen of the Hills, take home unforgettable memories of mesmerizing sunrises, lush tea gardens, colonial heritage, peaceful monasteries, and the breathtaking beauty of the Eastern Himalayas.
