Day 1: Arrival at NJP / Bagdogra – Transfer to Lataguri
Upon arrival at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport, meet our representative and drive to Lataguri, the gateway to Gorumara National Park. En route, enjoy the scenic beauty of lush tea gardens, forests, and rivers. Check in to your resort and spend the evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Lataguri.
Day 2: Gorumara National Park Sightseeing & Jungle Safari
Start the day with an exciting Jeep Safari (subject to permit availability) in Gorumara National Park, famous for its one-horned rhinoceros, elephants, bison, deer, and exotic birdlife. Later, visit Jatraprasad Watch Tower, Medla Watch Tower, Khunia Watch Tower, Murti River, and nearby attractions. Return to the resort for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Lataguri – Jaldapara National Park
After breakfast, check out and proceed to Jaldapara National Park. On the way, enjoy the picturesque landscapes of Dooars and tea estates. Check in to your hotel and relax. In the evening, explore the local market or enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Overnight stay near Jaldapara.
Day 4: Jaldapara Safari – Buxa & Jayanti Excursion
Early morning, enjoy an adventurous Jeep Safari or Elephant Safari (subject to availability) in Jaldapara National Park. After breakfast, head for a full-day excursion to Buxa Fort, Jayanti River, Mahakal Cave (optional trek), and the beautiful forest landscapes. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 5: South Khayerbari – Chilapata Forest – Cooch Behar
After breakfast, visit South Khayerbari Leopard Rescue Centre and then explore the dense forests of Chilapata, known for wildlife and the historic Nalraja Garh ruins. Later, visit the magnificent Cooch Behar Palace before returning to your hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 6: Departure to NJP / Bagdogra
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive back to NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport with unforgettable memories of the mesmerizing forests, wildlife, rivers, and tea gardens of Dooars. Your tour concludes with wonderful experiences to cherish forever.
